Really enjoyed the pilot of Community, new on NBC this fall. It stars Joel McHale (of The Soup fame) and also has Chevy Chase, John Oliver, the black woman who works with Dwight at Staples in The Office (she’s also in a bunch of commercials). Apparently some of the writing’s done by Dan Harmon, who did the surprisingly smart and funny Sarah Silverman Program.It also contains the line, “The funny thing about being smart is you can get through most of life without ever doing any work.” True, but only if you replace “funny” with “awesome.”
