In the Eagles’ loss to Dallas last week, Brent Celek did the stupid Captain Morgan pose after his first touchdown. Wait, it gets stupider: Apparently, it was part of a guerrilla marketing promotion. And, of course, it gets even stupider: The NFL has now banned the celebration.
Sadly, the Nestea Plunge remains an illegal post-TD celebration. Some guys did this in the late 80s or early 90s, but players can’t go to the ground as part of a touchdown celebration anymore.
