Why 'Tropic Thunder' shouldn't be seen
Incredible commentary on CNN by Timothy Shriver, chairman of the Special Olympics. “Now, however,” he writes, “is the time to raise our voices against ‘Tropic Thunder’ and the harm it is sure to visit on people with intellectual disabilities.” The disabled face immediate doom! How can we help? “Ban the R-word. Ban the movie. Take a stand.” Yeah, let’s… ban those things. Um, what?
